How to change Windows 7 log-on screen wallpaper

Today I'm going to teach you a simple trick. Using this cool trick you can change your log on screen in windows 7. We can use two methods to do this. First one is by Editing the registry, second one is by using a third-party software. Use any method you like.

Method 1

1. Press "Windows key + R" in keyboard to open "Run"

2. Type "regedit"

3. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Aunthentication\LogonUI\Background

4. Double click on "OEMBackground" (If the key doesn't exists, Right click --> New --> DWORD Value Enter the name "OEMBackground")

5. Change value data to "1" and click "OK"

6. Now open windows explorer and go to "C:\Windows\System32\oobe\info"

7. Create new folder named "backgrounds"

8. Place your desired wallpaper inside the folder "backgrounds" anr rename it to "backgroundDefault.jpg"(It should be a jpeg file and size should be less than 245KB)

9. That's it. Now press "Windows key + L" to see the results.
