How to make water drops using Photoshop



Today I'm going to teach you how to make water drops using Photoshop. It's very easy. Just fallow these steps.

1. Open the Image in Photoshop(I'm using CS3)

2. Create a new Layer & rename it to "Drop"


3. Select "Elliptical Marquee Tool" & draw a circle while holding "SHIFT" key.


4. Select "Gradient Tool" & click "Edit Gradient"


5. Select third preset


6. Draw gradient from upper left corner to bottom right corner



7. Select "Blend Mode" to "Overlay"


8. Double click on "Layer Thumbnail"


9. Active "Inner Shadow" & change settings as follows


10. Active "Drop Shadow" & change settings as follows


11. Press "Ctrl + D"

12. Create New Layer & rename it to "Highlight"


13. Set "Foreground Color" to "White"


14. Select "Brush Tool" & change "Brush Size" and "Hardness"



15. Click on the drop


16. Group layers by clicking on both layers(Drop & Highlight) while holding "SHIFT"


17. Press "Ctrl + G"


18. Make copies of "Group1" by dragging "Group1" to "Create new layer" icon


19. Also you can change sizes by pressing "Ctrl + T"


20. Also you can add "Liquify" effect. Select a any group and open it. Select "Drop" layer.



21. Go to "Filter ---> Liquify..."

22. Select "Forward Wrap Tool" & make it's size equal to the drop by pressing "[" or "]" keys



23. Click & drag upwards. click OK
